I have changed Career three times in my life. I worked in the ESB, then won a "Business Idea" to run my own Restaurant, Bakery and take-away Service. Loved the people and hated my work. Decided to change career having gone on a journey of discovery and follow my passion. I am now a Professional & Executive Coach, Trainer and Supervisor and love what I do for the last 20 years. PREVIOUS ENTREPRENEURIAL BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:
Prior to becoming a coach, I worked in Public Relations and Marketing in ESB and then set up my own business, Pavlova Pantry, an Australian-style restaurant which I ran successfully for nine years, winning the ESB Innovative Business Ideas Competition in 1988. While in the restaurant business, I went on to win “Best customer service and Best cup of coffee’ in Dublin City and County with Bewleys.
Following the opening of the Centre for Professional & Personal Development, I then recognised the need for a Centre for Coaching and hence in 2002 opened the Coach Centre Ltd.
I was part of the team of the ICDN (Irish Coaching Development Network) working on the Competencies of Coaching.
I am a founder member of the Life & Business Coaching Association of Ireland and of the Association for Coaching in Ireland.
