Coaches of the Month: August
At Upskill Coach, nothing gives us more pleasure than seeing our clients’ truly flourish. And a huge part of that is pairing them with the perfect coach that will both understand their needs and have the skills to help them grow. So each month we like to give a brief shoutout to a small handful of our industry-leading coaches.
This month, we’d like to highlight the work of four coaches we believe have been doing exceptional things for their clients:
Greg Dalton
Greg helps individuals at all levels of the career ladder find their footing and progress to the next rung. He does this by empowering his clients to properly reflect on their situation, and use that budding self-awareness to develop incremental steps that will eventually have a huge impact on their long-term prospects.
Greg Dalton holds qualifications in Career, Life & Business Coaching; Psychology; Education Psychology; and Gestalt Therapy. He is also a certified practitioner with Thomas International.

Jo Riches
Jo uses her first-hand experience of working in IT for 25 years to understand the frustrations her clients feel of being overlooked and underappreciated in a professional setting. Though she does not work exclusively with women, this has become a key part of her coaching and she has a special passion for helping women overcome these types of challenges. She does that by building clients’ self-awareness and helping them reclaim their personal stories – and realise their true potential.
Jo is trained in not just coaching, but mentoring and wellbeing practises, enabling her to bring a rich selection of techniques to play in her coaching sessions – to consistently great effect.

Katie da Gama
Katie coaches both senior leaders and team members, with an emphasis on leadership skills. This often involves unearthing deep-rooted problems which her clients need to resolve – and that means her practise is inherently unique to every individual. She places particular importance on safety, creating a judgement-free space where her clients can honestly assess their own behaviour and feelings.
Before coaching, Katie held senior positions in the legal sector for over 20 years, giving her an immense overview of the types of challenges, personalities and situations her clients face every day in a corporate environment.

Una McGoey
Una is a Leadership Coach who regularly works with clients who are struggling to cope with change. She has proven exceptionally adept at navigating specific workplace problems that have arisen during the pandemic, such as the stresses around re-entering the office and creating and mastering a work/life balance. This often involves many specialist techniques, such as psychometric testing and implementing scientific growth models.
Una McGoey is an Accredited Coach with over two decades of experience in financial services. She has a range of qualifications in Financial Services, Sales, Business Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Management and Mindfulness.
